Greg Poe flies his aerobatic plane over downtown Thursday, September 30 to promote this weekend's 2010 Colorado Springs In Their Honor Air Show. Poe is one of several aerobatic pilots who will be in the show Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Colorado Springs Airport - General Aviation at Aviation Way and Fountain Blvd. Historic WWII aircraft, A-10 Thunderbolts and the Air Force Academy's Wings of Blue Parachute Team are those scheduled to perform. Tickets are available through TicketsWest or at the gate. Poe made a presentation to students at West Middle School Thursday and Air Force pilots with the A-10 West Demonstration Team visited children at Memorial Hospital.
