The Renaissance Festival visits downtown Colorado Springs every summer promoting the annual event in Larkspur. Paige the elephant and several actors has been visiting Acacia Park for as long as I can remember and pretty much every year we wind up taking a look and sometimes it makes in the paper and sometimes is doesn’t. Every once in a while something different and fun happens and you find yourself in the right place at the right time.

Bob Garner is nearly smooched by Paige the Renaissance Fair elephant who had her 23rd birthday cake of fruits, hay and veggies at Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs as jester, minstrels, musicians and fairies frolicked around the park promoting the annual Larkspur event and putting in the good word for Childrens Weekend at the fair this weekend.
