Sgt. Scott Duffman was killed in Afghanistan while serving in the Air Force in 2007. The beam from the World Trade Tower was installed in a pentagon-shaped base with surface dirt from the crash site of flight 93 near Shanksville, PA, and pointed northeast towards NY.
